Restaurants 540 S Main St A great place for breakfast or lunch, this is the oldest restaurant in Memphis. With the original 1950s tables, booths, and counter tops this great dinner can be seen in dozens of movies. Make sure that you try the sweet potato pancakes or the South Main sandwich.
3519 Walker Ave The best breakfast in town! Go early and be prepared to wait as this is a highly popular spot!
El Porton Mexican Restaurant 65 S Highland St Near the University of Memphis, El Porton is the Place to find some great Mexican food. Enjoy your time inside or on their covered patio. We suggest Charlie's favorite the mushroom quesadillas!
Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar 39 South Main Street While we have not had a chance to try out this brand new restaurant, it is getting rave reviews. With an extensive wine list and flights available in food and drink, this upscale restaurant in downtown is destined to become a hit.
130 Peabody Pl Our newest favorite, the Saucer is a beer bar, but don't turn you nose up just yet, as they have wonderful soft pretzels, pizza, and gourmet cheese and don't forget the beer!
385 S 2nd St A great little Mexican place in the South Main District. Make sure you try the Margaritas as they pack a punch!
1927 Madison Ave The site of our first date, Huey's is world famous for their hamburgers. If you make a stop at this Memphis staple, we highly suggest you try the fantastic burgers, cheese fries, or steak on a stick

Orleans on the Front Restaurant 94 S Front St A taste of New Orleans without the drive! Try out all of the authentic food that will make you think you are on Bourbon Street.
113 S Main St Great Chinese food restaurant located on the trolley line.
Attractions The Cotton Museum at the Memphis Cotton Exchange 65 Union Ave 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday and 12 to 5 pm on Sunday.
3734 Elvis Presley Blvd For those of you who might make this into a longer trip, don't forget about the home of Memphis' son, Elvis Presley. The tour is very long so plan ahead and see if you can find our names on the wall!
450 Mulberry St Another internship stop for Lindsey, the museum is located at the Lorraine Motel, the site of Dr. King's assassination, this museum is a wonderful place to learn about the civil rights movement in the United States.
706 Union Ave Where Elvis, Johnny Cash, and many others got their start, Sun Studios is still a working recording studio at night. Take a tour of the studio and even have your picture with the Elvis mic!
Some of our Favorite Places! Big Ono Bake Shop 116 S Front St Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm If you would like to take an edible souvenir home, stop by Ono's! Filled with fresh baked bread, delicious cookies, scones, and coffee, it is a great place to get breakfast or a snack.
505 S Main St If you are looking for a great cup of coffee or a nice drink, check out Bluff City Coffee. This cute little coffee shop is a nice place to hang out and has free internet access too!
436 S Grove Park Rd Are you looking for a treat to take home? Stop by Dinstuhl's, Memphis' oldest and finest candy shop. We highly suggest the Blueberry Cordials, the Chocolate Covered Pretzels and the Cashew Crunch!
5101 Sanderlin Ave Go to Muddy's Bake Shop for a wide variety of cupcakes that will delight your taste buds!
1916 Madison Ave If you like vinyl as much as Charlie, this is the place for you! Full of new an old records, you could spend days in this shop. Stop by and pick up one of your favorites!
3484 Poplar Ave An independent music store that has all that you could ask for and more! Stop by to browse the CDs, DVDs, and vinyl or pick up a music related piece of art.
